How we publish

Kivella editorial policy

Kivella publishes practical guides about pantry management, recipe organisation, meal planning, food waste and nutrition tracking. This policy explains how the Kivella Editorial Team develops and maintains that content.

Research and sourcing

We prefer primary research and official guidance for material factual claims. Nutrition and food safety articles use government, public-health or peer-reviewed sources where available. Sources are linked beside the claim they support so readers can inspect the original context.

Product claims

Product descriptions are limited to Kivella's documented capabilities and current availability. AI-assisted outputs are described as estimates or drafts that require user review. We do not present Kivella as a medical device or substitute for professional advice.

Review standards

Before publication, guides are checked for a clear reader task, accurate headings, useful examples, source-to-claim alignment, accessible language, descriptive links and overlap with existing posts. High-stakes nutrition and food-safety statements receive additional source checks.

Updates and corrections

Each guide shows its latest substantive update date. We revisit guidance when official advice, product capabilities or cited evidence changes. If we find a material error, we correct the article and update its modified date rather than leaving inaccurate advice in place.

Independence and AI assistance

Kivella's product team owns this publication. Automated tools may assist with research organisation, drafting or quality checks, but the Kivella Editorial Team remains responsible for the published claims, citations and product representations.
